Voices of the Past-7

"Initially, I expected most of this course to be online and that we would present something. However, I didn't expect it to be a group project, let alone a PSA. Other than that, it exceeded over my expectation. Completing the PSA project really reinforces the concepts we learned. The group project itself made us communicate and learn about each other (applying the interpersonal concepts directly for the class). I have taken an online/hybrid class.
My main advice to to know what is due weekly and read directions. Go through the site thoroughly to get a sense of how to use it. Therefore, you will know what is due, and what is expected from the class. Other than that, be consistent, just work on the assignments in a timely manner. Try not to procrasinate!
I wouldn't do anything different because I already knew what to expect. I wouldn't change anything. It was well-structured and fairly straight-forward. It was being able to have open communication with each PSA presented. We were able to laugh and enjoy the last bit of the course with each other without knowing each other that well. Again, the new students should take their time to get acquainted with canvas. They should know the deadlines for each assignment and mandatory class meet-ups. Overall, just be consisted with the weekly assignments. Be open to meeting new people and spread out the work (meet up once a week for the PSA project to get a little bit done each week)."
